Critical thinking during a timed online exam

Context: Undergraduate large cohort (250+)

During a timed online exam, students are provided with a critical thinking task. The task is designed to provide evidence of competence in written communication. Students are given two readings and must decide on a response from three possible choices, elaborating on their choice by presentation of a short written rationale.
